First question I have is Why isn't American Express as widely accepted as Visa or Discover Card? Thanks in advance for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I clicked on the LUV button on Citi today and got an immediate $2000 increase. I started with them a little over a year ago with $4000 and then they increased me by $1000 after 6 months. Since it is now over a year and the LUV button was showing I went for it and got another $2000 bringing me to $7000. I just want the increases for the utilization since BofA cut my limit in half this past year. |

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you an answer..

I didn't say I was planning to always PIF. I usually do but if I have a higher balance I may take a longer time to pay it off...

BTW, does anyone know how long Citi allows between requests for CLI? I want to stay on top of it and request one as soon as they allow...

No. Citi's secured cards are locked at amount you put into the security deposit. Once it becomes unsecured, however, they'd be eligible for CLIs..

Thanks for all the congrats! If it us every three months that is good news. I am trying to make up for the $7000 BofA cut out of my CL. With this increase it is only $5000 more I need to get even with what I had before BofA cut my limit in half...
