Getting approved for a TD Visa and an Amex..

The Amex was something I didn't really need, but was a huge moral victory for me considering a long ago experience I had with them. It was something I.

Had.

To do..

TD turned me down for years. And I had been banking with them since, oh, somewhere around 1984. Then all of a sudden, last July, I was approved for 10k when the nice lady at the bank went to bat for me. Then they auto-CLI'd me just before Christmas to 20k. Why the sudden change of heart from TD? I don't know...

The second but more important would be obtaining two new Discover credit card approvals, the first was a 13,500 limit soon followed thereafter by another with a 15,000 approval. These were my first limit approvals over 10,000....!!!.

I firmly believe in the axiom now that "High limits beget higher limits".

Thirdly, I appeared on CNN's Anderson Cooper when they sent someone to interview me in my home as we discussed Citi's rate jacking policies. This led to my name change on CB which I couldn't resist due to Jens suggestion...

Getting 4 new great rewards CC..

Using my Penfed Cash Visa recon $500 CL to the max for 14 months and PIF before statement cut and an approved raise from Penfed from $500 to 19,900..

A total shock since my Pincome is only 20,000..

B off a CA that pulled TU and then freezing all CRA..

Continuing to learn from CB..
