Got a question... Where to buy reloadable Visa/Discover Card in the US? Looking forward for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Hi,.

I got a letter from TransUnion after disputing a handful of negative accounts. I sent this CMRRR. The letter I got back read:.

Thank you for contacting TransUnion. Our goal is to maintain complete and accurate information on consumer credit reports. We have provided the information below in response to your request..

Re: General Policy.

TransUnion's procedure for investigating disputed information is to contact, by mail, electronic means or telephone, the source of information. Each source is advised of your dispute and is requested to verify the accuracy and/or completeness of the information reported..

Once the verification responses are received, the disputed information is updated accordingly. Changes are reflected on the summary of results that is sent to you at the conclusion of our investigation. If you have any questions regarding the results of the investigation, please contact the creditor(s) directly..

Re: Explanation of Different Items on Your Credit Report.

The inquiries listed on your credit report are a record of the companies that obtained your credit information. All inquiries remain on your credit report for two years. Credit information may be requested only for the following permissible purposes: credit transactions, employment consideration, review or collection of an existing account or other legitimate business need, insurance underwriting, government licensing, rental dwelling, or pursuant to a court order. Your written authorization may not be required to constitute permissable purpose..

If you believe that an inquiry on your credit report was made without permissible purpose, then you may wish to contact the creditor directly, in writing, regarding it's purpose. Please note that your specific consent to the release of your credit information is not necessarily for a permissible purpose to exist..

Is this a stall letter? Do I need to rewrite them?.

Thank you...

Yes, I did. I disputed 2 account inquiries that I never authorized, in addition to disputing four negative accounts...

It's better to bump inquires then dispute them..

Did you by chance dispute other things along with the Inquires? I got this once and then the results about two weeks later...

Indeed, I disputed 4 negative listings, along with the unauthorized inquiries..

Since the letter never specifically said they were investigating my disputes, I want to be sure they're not ignoring/stalling (like EX does) and making sure I don't need to send a follow-up letter...
