First question I got is What is the normal Lending Tree mortgage interest rate? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... I sent mr. Richman an e-mail last night re: a Fingerhut acct. that Exp. and Efx removed instantly we had to send the letter fm Fingerhut to TU and the deemed the letter not acceptable and just started a new investigation. |

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an decent answer. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably can help you..

I said something nice. I emailed him on a Friday evening. One Monday morning he emailed back that someone would be contacting me. By 3pm Julie had called back and as soon as we hung up she did exactly what she said that she would do!! I had a great experience with them!!.
BTW...Is there someone like him at Experian?? THey are AWFUL.. |

After receiving that e-mail, I sent Mr Richan another thanking him for removing the item but informing him that we would still be filing suit b/c as of this morning a judgment that does not belong was added to his report. I got what seemed like a very hostile reply. Mr. Richman informed me that he was not scared of my threats and would forward the e-mail to someone else and if they 'deemed it nessessary' would investigate the item. I will go all out on this one b/c this is just ridiculous, first waiting all this time to have Fingerhut removed when they had the paper in black and white saying it was to be removed, now adding a judgment that does not belong. This seems like retalliation to me...

I don't know if you have read my other threads concerning TU and mr. richman, but I personally don't recommend contacting him until you are actually ready to file and/or want all of your negatives removed. Mr. Richman can be a tremendous resource when you have exhausted all other avenues, but he can get upset when he feels people who are privy to his email addy (like CNetters) use him as their personal CSR.. If you are ready to sue (for a completely clean report) then I would make sure you have everything in order, and email him and PFB your intent to letter. Otherwise, you might be burning the only bridge that can get you mass deletions without actually suing... |

Hey Marc. oh yea, we will sue. I mean c'mon what was so hard about them first deleting the account that they knew was to be deleted? Andnow this? Like I said, this judgment added this morning seems like retalliation to me. I merely contacted Mr. Richman last night b/c I was at my wits end. This Fingerhut acct.
It was not his account. So Fingerhut sent the letter saying it was to be removed, and in my opinion contacted them themselves b/c same day we received the letters the tradeline was removed from both Efx and Exp. So I called TU to see what they're problem was and they said that since it had been under investigation already they had started a whole new investigation once the fax received, they were changing the investigation fm 'not mine' to 'fraudulent' which supposedly gave them another 30 days to investigate. That is crap. And now this judgment.. |

I understand your frustation..
In a few days, when my client's lawsuit is settled, I will posting my "experiences" in dealing with the CRAs, esp. TU and getting those reports clean in 3-6 months. It may be too late for you, but hopefully you can still apply some of the strategies with the other CRAs... |
