Good question... I dunno what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could answer your Discover Card question..

Not to mention, there is the whole residency thing and even if you get past THAT requirement (I cannot imagine someone being willing to knowingly file a false document with the government for a DL), there is still the national database that almost every State participates in. A suspension WILL generally be discovered. And even if it was missed at the time the second license was obtained, when IT gets suspended, THAT suspension would get communicated back to the original State, which just compounds the problems....
Every State agency has someone who functions in an Ombudsman capacity even if they do not actually hold that title. OP needs to either USE THEIR PHONE or GO TO THE AGENCY that issues DL's in their State... |

Thanks to the person who suggested a restricted license, but that's a hundred bucks a violation. Still, it's looking like the best solution..
I looked up the ombudsperson, thanks to the suggestion. I have contacted them, and my congressperson.. Thanks also for the suggestion to check into social services. I just really really hate to do it, but I'm starting to look now... |

What do you mean?.
You need to pay $100 for each violation you had in order to get a restricted license issued?. Or they will fine you $100 for each time you violate the conditions of the license and drive at unauthorized times?.. |
|
You're incorrect. It's $100 per reason for having a suspended license. You have only one reason: failure to pay tickets..
From the Washington DMV website:. "Pay the nonrefundable application fee. You will need to pay the application fee for each type of suspension or revocation. For example, if your applications to drive to work and to school are needed because you have one suspension, you pay one fee ($100). If you submit applications for 2 different suspensions, you pay 2 fees ($200).". Also, you'll need to have a payment plan:. "# If your driver license is suspended because you didn€™t pay a ticket or appear in court (FTA), submit proof that you have entered into a payment plan with the court. Courts can complete an FTA Payment Plan Verification form and give it to you to attach to your ORL application.".. |
