Got a question... Vanilla Discover Card, original balance back on card? Hoping for any answer. My 2nd question... I noticed, via CCT, a new inquiry (dated 12/30) from Verizon Wireless. I have closed my account with them 2years ago..

I haven't noticed any posts about Verizon Wireless doing promotional inquiries let alone hard inquires. Did anyone else have those?.

No....I have not opened any new account or tried to buy a phone..

I do use VZW network through another prepaid cellular provider and never had to give any info at all. I am 100% certain I am not their customer and they certainly don't have PP. Also I am sure the CCT is correct and pulling a report directly from EX would even confirm that..

So, what are my options to get the inquiry removed or compensated? Since this seems to be an year end/month end inquiry, I am suspecting there are few others that do have inquiries. Probably a company of that size can make even EX to delete inquiries..

Did you not call AT&T to complain or ask for a free upgrade?.

If I dispute with EX, they would ask to deal with VZW. Anyone know how to deal with this..

Technically there may not be. Why would they pull hard then? To get the current address to mail a DROID phone?.

Don't have an ex or someone with your social do you?????.

Some Wal-Mart employee could have broke the rules and allowed them to see what the "deposit" would be on a VZW account in there "Hubby's" name - Lol..

I know it's prolly a lil more than far-fetched..

That makes no sense and I would be all over them finding out why, or making them remove it!.

MAYBE a promotional soft if you DO NOT have an account with them. If you DO then they should not even be pulling softs (Verizon not a credit account)...
