Quick question: Reviews/Knowledge on Prepaid MuchMusic Discover Card? Hoping for any answer. Another question I got... Over the weekend I logged into TC and saw that my TU fako had bounced from 645 to 718! Which would have been awesome, except, according to their summary explanation, that's a grade "C" on a scale from A-F. No obvious changes in my report. Also, fakos for EX and EQ are no longer displaying.... |

Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could answer your Discover Card question..

It sounds like they traded one FAKO for another. The scores could be off +-100 before and it sounds like they still are..
I don't see the big deal. TC is for monitoring account changes, not score changes.. This post has been edited by. Jtoast. : 28 December 2009 - 02:01 PM.. |

Agreed as far as watching report changes.
We have score watch at myfico for scores (which always showed the same transunion score btw). But Im ready to close the account because it NEVER and I mean never sends an alert unless I buy a score power report...and Ive tried setting everything differently to get it to pop an alert but no dice... |

I agree that TC is not for monitoring score changes, but it is very frustrating that the scale and methodology for measuring their FAKO has completely changed. At least when they were using the same scale, I could track my progress over time. Didn't really matter if that was my true FICO score or not..
I was already considering leaving TC and with this change they have finally given me the motivation to move on... |

I have true credit as well and when I updated my scores I was given a vantage score. Are vantage scores even valid? Meaning do lenders even use vantage scores for credit approval purposes? If not, then what is the point of having a vantage score? I am trying to move in the next couple of months and I want to make sure my scores are decent before I go applying at different apartment complexes. Why must they try to make things more difficult than they have to be?..
