First question I got is Is An Interest-Only Lending Tree mortgage A Good Idea In Real Estate Investment? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another quick question... Ok Folks listen to this one. I have incorrect previous addresses listed on my report with Experian and they even have them noted as.

Non- residential addresses. Now I have disputed these addresses as not being mine. I get the following response from experian " these addresses were reported to us by a creditor and remain".

Now, dont you think I would know where I have lived ? I have no clue which creditors are reporting this wrong info but I do not excactly have the best relationship with any of then to ask them to remove this. Does my word with Experian not count for anything..

Please ..what can I do to get these removed ???.

Thanks all..

Ye, although you might want to make sure and wait for another member here to confirm this as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Lending Tree guys because they can answer you better...

I have addresses removed all the time for some people that I help. I just mail in a letter with the addresses that I want deleted, and say, I never lived here, please remove them from my file...

Have you tried calling them? I worked for my report and when I called for my boyfriend. They deleted the info while I was on the phone...

I agree with the idea of calling them. I just went through this last week. Every time you call you get a different person, so just be cool with them..

They ask if there is a problem with your credit report..

Just say, not really, just some addresses that are wrong. If you are nice to them they will usually read from the list and ask if each of them is correct..

One time, I wanted to remove an address and the gal said, "Well, Providian reported this address.".

I said,"That's weird, because I never lived there." They removed it, and that was as intense as it got..

Just keep trying until you get a cool CSR..

So call 'em!.

Just hope you DON'T get the one that says>"IT IS ILLEGAL FOR ME TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS".

You>"I NEVER LIVED IN THAT CITY/STATE" (or on that STREET)..

Saying a creditor reported it is BS, because everything else a creditor reports is subject to verification!.

How do they know WHICH creditor reported that? FCRA says they have to provide the consumer with EVERYTHING on file - I don't see anywhere on any of my reports as to the sources of my address info. And I still want to know how they knew the MAKE of one of my cars when it's nowhere on my report!..

But FCRA says they have to provide the consumer with everything they have on file with the exception of FICO/scores/etc...

Just call them until you get a CSR that will remove it while you're on the phone based on your assertion that you never lived there. It usually takes only one or two calls 'til you connect with a CSR that's not pre-occupied with faking intelligence...
