First off, I have Maestro bank card, can I use it in Discover Card ATM? Hoping for any response. Second question.. Howdy all,. |

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could answer your Discover Card question..

FREEZE.
THE BIG 3 AND FIND OUT. Is the. HARD. Worth more than the premiums???. But I doubt you can get only 4 months worth. Try 6 or 12 months. If you don't have it now.... WHY 4 MONTHS WORTH???. This post has been edited by. GEORGE. : 06 January 2010 - 08:22 PM.. |

What breeze said.. before applying you can request your MIB.

This is what I heard (not verified). Many short-term medical insurance policies offered in the individual market are meant for temporary visitors and because they somehow go under travel insurance or related they can get away with unforgiving PEC exclusions, in disregard of state insurance regs..
If you get sick, coverage is likely to be denied based on type of condition (heart attack or cancer is automatically PEC). As others pointed out MIB is likely to be pulled for an individual policy.. I would do the research before paying (with Discover card) up and proceed with caution. Perhaps you qualify for your state's subsidized self-employed plan or something like that. Cobra at my work is almost $400 a month....not really a option.....

That's about what real health insurance costs. Anything less is likely to be garbage that doesn't actually protect you, like nothingtolose said...
