First of all How can a real estate investor profit from an assumable Lending Tree mortgage? Looking forward for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. Has anyone here ever used the MBNA World or Quantum concierge service? Was it easy to use and what kind of things have you used it for?..

Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Lending Tree as they probably could help you..

I've used the Quatnum concierge a couple of times to make restaurant reservations. They did a good job and got back to me quickly with the reservation detail. I used their online forms..

I recently tried to use them to procure to do some research about spas I wanted to use. They never got back to me, although it was during a couple of days ago during the Christmas rush. I then used the amex platinum concierge about the same spa information and they got back to me within a couple of hours with the information I needed. I guess like in most things... you get what you pay for...

I never used it ..I like to do my own shopping/research:). But from the people that used it I gather it's pretty good. Dont count on the deals to be the cheapest out there they never are, if you have money to spend and want someone else to do the dirty work MBNA Quantum Concierge service is for you..

To me, I prefer a lower APR to these additional services so I never upgraded my MBNA PP to MBNA Q. the CR said they would do it but have to change the APR from 9.9 to 13.9. I know I can strike a deal with with them later to reduce the APR but didnt think it's worth it. I dont like the card design either, it looks kind of cheap PP card design is a lot better....

I agree the design of the Quatnum needs improvement. I like the transculent characteristic and particularly the silver line on the back, but it is too cheap looking, particularly for a status card. The plat plus is much flashier and I remember a clerk in England commenting on what a beautiful loooking card the PP really is...

Its funny how the looks matter more than APR/limits , My boss and I had gone to a dinner and split the bill. He paid using his Quantum and me using my PP. The waitress goes wow what a cool card at MBNA PP card not even giving a glance at Quantum:). My boss boasts of how he could buy a Benz or a house with his cards. Well on that day Civic won over Benz ;).

Another card I have seen waitresses going ga ga over is AMEX blue. Forget woman I went nuts over it when I saw it for the first time :). Even though everything else about the card sucks full points to the designer,it is without any doubt the best looking card...

I was able to get the MBNA World MasterCard with an 8.99% APR so it may be worth it to try. I really like the design of the World card...

You know, I'm like that, the way a card looks is very important to me (well in addition to the rest of the stuff like APR <g>). I think Blue is about the best looking card out there, and just about everywhere I use it the cashier, etc go nuts about it. I just got done buying an Xmas present the other day at a SprintPCS store and the girl insisted on showing it to all her coworkers because it was "so cool.".

I really like the MBNA Worldcard design, a little plainer but a very stylish card. My old Plat Plus University of Michigan card was nice also. I just applied and was approved for the Amex Cash Rebate card and I'm not too thrilled with the look at least in pictures. Maybe it will be better in person...
