Got a question, hope someone can answer... Discover Card Priceless commericals for basketball.? Thanks for any comment. Second question of mine... Got a letter from Geico claiming that choice point has some negative info on me that must cause Geico to raise it auto ins quote. Geico cs claim it is just routine boiler plate letter..

What is Geico up to?.

What is Choice point?.

Choise point wants me to list all of my "addresses" and info before it will send out a report to the consumer, like what is up with that? Even their disclosure is a info search to dig for data. So I cant request a report because I dont want to give them any more info about me.......

Anybody got a number for choice point? cs, complaints?..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably could give you help..

Ok how do I order a report without giving them my "current address".?.

Why do I have to give them any info, cant I see what they have on file first then give them some info? is there any way to get info from them without giving them anything?.

The whole thing is set up to get info from you when you request a report, what a total scam.....

Is there a customer service telephone number you can call to reach choice point?..

Being a reporting agency, choicepoint, and choicetrust is regulated by the FCRA, so I would regard them in the same light as the big 3 for credit. I wouldnt really worry about giving them any information on your current address, as it will only help them find your report easier, and verify you, you know the usual. Do you have the same reservations about giving your information to transunion or equifax to get a credit report? I may be wrong but I dont see a problem with giving choicepoint your address, of course anybody else feel free to chime in...

If I have another address, I dont want that to appear on my CR b/c I know how such things can lower your score a bit.....

I want just one address on my CR even if I request an ins policy on another property. plus I dont want to be giving choice pt anything..

Anybody have a cs number for choice pt?..

Is the address on your insurance policy the same one that would have been on a credit report or other data source tapped by CP? If not, then the failure to provide your current address may very well be costing you money...

That's the problem, this is no verification at all. It's data mining. Just because you give them an address that is correct doesn't verify identity..

If they need a current address to find a file in a database, they need a new database search mechanism..

Btw, this is not TU or EQ (although CP is an EQ spinoff), this is Choice Point, Home Of The Devil..

They make Intelius look like Baby Jesus. You can bet they log your IP address when you fill out a webform which geolocates you...

I would suggest that you find another insurance company if they would use garbage collectors such as this Choice Point since everyone seems to think they are inaccurate..
