Got a question... Can someone please educate me on Discover Card and visa? Hoping for any response. Another quick question... I have two Discover Biz cards that were reporting to my personal CRAs. I notice now that they have not been updated since October. If so, is there a way to get them off completely?. |

Yup, however you might want to make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm it as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Discover Card guys because they can assist you better...

Actually, they both have balances. They recently CLDed me down to the existing balances. Surprisingly, they haven't reported the lower limit on the second one yet, which is good for me, since it was about approx 50% utilized and is now appox 98%. I've been anticipating the negative effect on my scores, but the Discover TLs reporting has not changed since Oct..

Why did they report in the first place???.
DID YOU DO PG???. WERE YOU LATE???.. |
|
Yes, I am the PG. No, they were never late. They did not report for the first couple of years, but, unfortunately, a few months ago they changed their policy and started reporting biz cards on the PGs personal reports. There were some threads about it at the time...

Does it at least say.
BUSINESS ACCOUNT. So you won't have it count aginst you (as if you had too much owed).. |
|
George, it's not noted as a business account with the CRAs. Another thing that sucks about this...

Business accounts were always.
HIDDEN. (unless you were late). But I guess that is now. YMMV.. |

I haven't checked in on this thread because my Discover is not a business card..
But! I just realized that Discover hasn't updated THAT account since October, either. (They gave me a cli in October that doesn't show, either.). This is on both FAKO and reports from the CRAs themselves... |

It definitely has changed. In 2008, State Farm, Discover and CapOne all began reporting PG biz accounts to the 3 major consumer CRA's...
