First off, Anyone know of betting websites where you can use Discover Card giftcards? Many thanks for any answer. Another quick question... After receiving 3 mail offer from CHASE, I decided to take the offer.. |
Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Discover Card as they probably can answer it..

I recently applied for the Chase BA card. They pulled my credit immediately and then took 27 days for approval...
Yes, generally speaking, a credit pull is initiated instantly...
Thanks, Maybe my report has not been pulled, I have identity monitor and Myfico, but I have not received alert from none of them..
What CRA pull DISCOVER for customer in Texas.. |
Those monitors look at your credit report at some regular interval and compare their archived report from the previous check and the current check..
In other words, your monitoring services may have not yet checked your reports again. I have had a monitoring service take several days to tell me that an inquiry was placed... |
IdentityMonitor say that my experian report has been pulled.
I called to the App status backdoor number and my app has been approved CL $6100. But my APR has been set to 23.24 standard rate. MyFico score is 770+ on EQ and TU with 0 INQ. And EXP FAKO 767 with 2 INQ (1 AGO and 1 in SEP) now I have 3 INQ on EXPERIAN. My question is: must I call to Recon on APR?. Please expert, let me Know what can I do.. Which CRA pull DISCOVER?. Thanks.. |
Check the credit pulls database..
And YES you should call if you want a lower APR, have your argument set and not afraid to close the card if they don't lower the APR. I recently got my annual fee reversed for a chase card by sending a secure email. YMMV... |
Thank Shaft!!.
I'd like to know if there is someone who ask for recon on APR once your account was approved... |
On CB we ask for a reconsideration on ANYTHING we don't like. We'll call and ask for a better design on a fugly card...
WHY would you want to apply for chase in the first place? They are closing lines for no reason and cutting limits. They're terrified of their own shadow. MY economy is fine but theirs sucks, clearly...
Oh yes, and if you call in for recon, they CAN AND WILL PULL A 2ND REPORT...
Let me give you an example. I opened a WaMu card in 2007 at a 1k limit when I was rebuilding. Never had a CLI even though my limits grew from 1000 to 6000/2500/2000 elsewhere. What does chase do? Ratejack and CLD me. Forget them, I have no time to deal with issuers like them...
Unfortunate fact is that Chase treated WaMu lines as unwanted stepchildren. Credit quality was never much of a factor..
At the time Chase acquired my $11k WaMu (24%), I had a 4 year old $25k Chase line (8.9%F), and 2 other lines. Did my high quality, good standing with Chase catch up to the WaMu line? Not on your life. They wouldn't lower the APR.. They surprised me by closing it with 9 mo of inactivity (my others had been inactive for longer without closure). Although it was one of my oldest tradelines, it was largely no big deal. I had fortunately reallocated $10K of the CL a few months beforehand... |
I said MAJOR. I wouldn't consider Alliant major. People are receiving AA from Amex, BOA, Citi, and Chase. I can't speak on U.S. Bank...
Maybe so, but in my experience Chase has been far touchier than most lately...
I called for recon on APR..
Must wait 6 month.... I will to apply for Discover and use CHASE for UTIL %. Is Discover more easy to get better APR?. What pull Discover in Texas?. Thanks to ALL.. |
I applied solely for the 100,000 miles. If they close my line after I use the miles I don't care...
Why not use the card if it has good rewards? We encourage everyone to pay in full and not carry a balance. In other words the APR shouldn't matter AND if you can't afford it, don't buy it...
"Credit Pulls" link top page to click you should. Database to see you may that the answers have...

I too opened a Chase sapphire last year. $250 cash back for opening was too good to pass up. $500 limit (signature) and AF (none 1st year) makes it a non starter for me, at least as far as spending. Will be closing @ 1 year age or converting. Their rewards can be appealing, yes..
