You might want to try PFB. My dh and I (seperate (sp) apps) were initially denied. We did PFB and we were both approved. Dh had to send copy of pay stubs though...

For myself I asked for a reconsideration countering their denial reasons. One was balance ratios - asked them to consider my actual credit line with cap one was higher than my high credt limit. I think it helped that I wanted to bt the amount..
For dh just a general will you reconsider response... |

The exec office call today & she said she had to look my app over. That was quick! She said she will call me back with an answer...

I got a phone call from exec office today and was told the same as firstclass. Supposedly my application was sent for reconsideration and review to a special department. I should be getting an answer shortly..

My case is probably somewhat different. I already have a secured BofA card for almost 8 months and have great relationship with them (banking mostly) and wanted them to unsecure it and approve me for a higher limit, not so much though (currently $500), regular Gold card..
She said she can not promise anything but they would look it over (reasons were too many inq - which I explained) and get back to me soon.. I hope for the best :). I do not need high credit line. I just need to have a normal credit card and walk my way up.. BTW, Congratulations on your new card!!!.. |

I just spoke to Ms. Robin at BofA and she increased my credit line to $1000 (from $500) and UNSECURED my account !!!.
I'm all PRIME NOW!. Instead of opening a new account they have just upgraded it, which I'm very happy about as this is one of my oldest accounts :). Thank you guys for help.. I love BOA!.. |
